What do we do?
Congress works in partnership with the Ntaria (Hermannsburg) community to deliver primary health care to the residents of Ntaria and Wallace Rockhole.
The Ntaria Health Service is a community controlled health service led by the Western Aranda Health Aboriginal Corporation (WAHAC).
The clinic at Ntaria is run by Central Australia Health Service P: 08 8951 6040
Services at this clinic:
- doctors
- nurses and Aboriginal health practitioners
- visiting allied health staff (dietitian, optometrist, podiatrist, diabetes nurse and psychologist)
- health checks (includes child health checks)
- immunisations
- medication
- health education
- other Congress and external services
- healthy lifestyle promotion
Ntaria Health Service also has Artwaka Wurraka Men’s Place with a gym and consult rooms. A monthly yarning group happens here too.
Lukura is the women’s space. This is where the ANFPP office is and an indoor and outdoor wellbeing space for all community women. There is also a new women’s gym construction courtesy of Stronger Communities for Children (SCfC, NIAA) and Central Land Council (CLC).
When you come to the clinic you will be seen by a team of health professionals, dependent on your needs.
